Grass
Dr.
Grass was born in Taunton, Massachusetts in 1914. She attended
Radcliffe College, where she received an AB degree, cum laude
and then and MA degree in 1936.
She has served in
many capacities for various oganizations including the American
Epilepsy Federation, Epilepsy Foundation of America,
Massachusetts Development Disabilities Council, National
Commission of Multiple Sclerois, Association of Advancement of
Medical Instrumentation, National Commission for Control of
Epilepsy and Its Consequences, Epilepsy Center of Oregon,
International Bureau for Epilepsy, Epilepsy Society of
Southeastern Massachusetts. Dr. Grass has also been involved as
a Trustee for the Marine Biological Laboratory, Regis College
and Faulkner Hospital.
Dr. Grass has
received many awards including an Alumnae Recognition Award from
Radcliffe College, the William G. Lennox Award from the American
Epilepsy Society, the first Medallion of the Candadian
Association of EEG Technologists with Albert M. Grass, a
Lifetime Service Award and Lifetime Director Emerita from the
Epilepsy Foundation of America. |
