1993 Education Award in Neuroscience

Dr. Walle J. H. Nauta 

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of ANDP's 1994 Award for Education in Neuroscience to retired Massachusetts Institute of Technology Professor Walle J.H. Nauta, M.D., Ph.D., who was recognized for his decades of devoted, enthusiastic teaching of neuroscience and his role model mentoring of trainees. Few educators have enlightened and inspired so many students, trained so many successful graduates, and done so with such skill, commitment and generosity as Dr. Nauta. His dedication to the importance of teaching and to the art of doing it well is the exemplar for every neuroscience faculty member.
