A postdoctoral position will be available in the Department of Psychiatry of Columbia University as of March 2008 to study the neurophysiology of anxiety in genetically modified mice. Applicants must have experience with in vivo recording and stimulation techniques in the medial prefrontal cortex and amygdala. Substantial knowledge of the field of prefrontal cortical control over the amygdala is required. Applicants must have a record of quality publications and conference presentations in this field.
