Program Description: The Neuroscience Program consists of 19 faculty members in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Molecular Biology, Psychology and several related departments. The Program is oriented toward the study of the role of the central nervous system in behavior, with particular emphasis on neurophysiology, molecular neurobiology, neuropharmacology, neurogenetics, developmental neurobiology, neural modeling, animal behavior, neuroendocrinology, sensory physiology and cognitive neuroscience.
Students pursue individually tailored interdisciplinary programs of study, with full support and facilities for a wide spectrum of experimental work. A brochure giving complete details of the training program in neuroscience is available from the Director.
