The programme runs from October to September and provides post-graduate training in Neuroscience to students seeking to extend their specialised knowledge or wishing to convert from their original degree discipline. It aims to equip graduates for further full-time study in a neuroscience-related academic research environment, or for employment in an academic, clinical or pharmaceutical organization. The programme provides multi-disciplinary training in neuroscience topics, particularly those relevant to psychiatry and neurology, and practical training through formal instruction of a range of core methodologies and, through a research project, of more specialised skills.
