Program Description: The National Institute of Mental Health Intramural Research Program conducts a broad array of research activities that range from basic neuroscience investigation conducted at the systems, cellular and moleuclar levels to clinical investigation into the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental illness. Postdoctoral fellowships are provided for study in any of the Program's 22 Basic Research Laboratories and Clinical Branches located on the 306-acre NIH campus in Bethesda, MD. Special fellowships are also available to recent college graduates contemplating application to graduate or medical school, as well as undergraduate and graduate students for summer research training.
Requirements: Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree with less than five years of postdoctoral training. Apply to individuals listed above.
