Program Description:  

The program constitutes 14 full courses, including at least two 400-series course, as outlined below. Note that another 6 courses are required to graduate (20 full courses in total); these may include some additional neuroscience options.

Second Year: BIO 250Y/255Y - cell & molecular biology
BCH 210H//CHM 247H - biochemistry/organic chemistry
HMB 200H - basic neuroscience
HMB 265H/BIO 260H - genetics
PSL 300H/BIO 252Y - neurophysiology and endocrinology
STA 220H/PSY 201H - statistics
0.5 FCE from: ANT 204Y/253H/ - anthropology
or LIN 200H/PSY 260H/270H/280H - linguistics/cognitive psychology/perception

Third Year: HMB 300H - human behavioral biology
HMB 310H - neuroscience & human behavioral lab

CSB 349/ PSL 350H - molecular biology
2 FCEs from: wide selection of neurobiology, physiology, psychology and pharmacology courses

Fourth Year: 2 FCEs from 400-level neuroscience courses including:

Admission Requirements:  GPA of 3.5 in first year Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Psychology

Annual Tuition and Fees:  Tuition (International Students): $ 15,000; Incidental Fees: $ 980; University Health Insurance Plan: $ 616

Approximate Cost of Living:  $15,000

Housing Availability and Costs Per Year:  All first-year students are guaranteed on-campus housing. Cost is about $10,000 per year.

Day-Care Facilities Available and Costs Per Month:  Three day-care facilities: Early Learning Center, Kidspace, & Campus Co-Op Daycare. Cost: $1500 for infants to $ 630 for pre-schoolers

Stipend/Assistantships and Financial Assistance:  Bursaries and student loans are available.
