Program Description:  The Neuroscience Minor is an interdisciplinary program which is open to all Ithaca College students. The Concentration in Neuroscience is only open to Psychology majors. Both programs have required courses in Behavioral Neuroscience and Lab as well as Neurobiology and upper-level elective courses. A capstone Seminar in Neuroscience course is also required. Students also do a practicum which can involve basic research or clinical work in faculty laboratories. Current projects involve the modulation of motor output, the control of autonomic nervous system function and clinical and research work in exercise science.
