Program Description:  The Neuroscience Program at Baldwin-Wallace College is designed to introduce students to the fascinating study of the brain and to prepare them for: 1) graduate school, medical school or other professional training in Neuroscience (or its contributing disciplines) or, 2) a research career following award of the undergraduate degree.  The Neuroscience Major is interdisciplinary with concentrations in Psychology, Biology or Chemistry.  Neuroscience Majors must meet the published requirements of the Biology Major, Chemistry Major, or Psychology Major and also successfully complete several interdisciplinary courses.  Neuroscience Majors design and conduct a significant research project and present/publish their results as their capstone experience.  A Minor in Neuroscience is also offered.

Stipend/Assistantships and Financial Assistance:  
Competitive grants to support for research projects and travel to national and international Neuroscience meetings. A summer research program fosters collaborative student-faculty research by offering stipends for students to conduct projects of their own design. Summer housing is offered to students who are selected for this program.
